Jean-Daniel has a master’s degree in workplace sociology. His interests have led him to do research on work transformation, on the situation of young people, on poverty and on social exclusion. He has also focused the development of his skills on quantitative and qualitative methodology in the social sciences.Since he began working at CIRADD, he has conducted projects on a variety of topics, ranging from the economic impacts of tourism to the perception of new technologies by commercial fishermen.
