Jean-Daniel has a master’s degree in workplace sociology. His interests have led him to do research on work transformation, on the situation of young people, on poverty and on social exclusion. He has also focused the development of his skills on quantitative and qualitative methodology in the social sciences. For the past six years, he has been a full-time researcher at CIRADD and has carried out projects on various subjects, ranging from the economic impacts of tourism to the perceptions of commercial fishermen of new technologies.
