Faced with the proliferation of human activities near or linked to the Bonaventure River, the objective is to develop a tool to reconcile the different uses and interests while ensuring the quality of the environment.

This tool makes it possible to respect the support capacity of the river by determining the threshold beyond which the ecosystem degrades and can no longer contribute to the well-being of the population, preventing certain groups and future generations from meeting their needs.
